April 13th

This is Bryan Frazier, Superintendent of Claremore Public Schools.  School will be back in session Monday, April 16th.  All school sites will begin modified start and release times Monday and will continue until May 25th in order to make up for lost time due to the teacher walkout.  At the secondary level, both the high school and the junior high will start classes at 8:15 am and will dismiss at 4:00 pm.  At the elementary levels, all elementary schools will begin classes at 7:45 am and will dismiss at 3:15 pm.  Morning bus routes for pickup will run at their normal times with no change.  Afternoon bus routes will be dropping students off thirty minutes later as a result of the extended school day.  These modification of the instructional day will allow us to have extended instruction time with students before state testing and will also ensure that the last day of school will be May 25th.
