I would like to reinforce that PEP and GT students do not have to make-up the work that was missed in their regular class while they were in PEP or GT class. Exceptions include tests, quizzes, and assigned reading. Keep in mind that PEP and GT students are responsible for the learning that was missed. This means that they may have to complete all or part of an assignment to master the objective of the missed lesson. For example, long division may require much repetition for mastery, but does not require that the paper be submitted to the teacher for grading. This information has been shared with the classroom teachers.
