Here is what we are working on in PEP and GT:
2nd Grade: These kiddos are quite the little theater buffs. Our latest puppet show can be found in the Kids in Action section. We are back to focusing on working out our brains. Be looking for our hard work to come home soon!
3rd Grade: We are now tying rocks and fossils to fossil fuels. We are completing the Fossils to Fuels program provided by the OERB. Our upcoming field trip is funded by the OERB.
4th Grade: Our canopic jars are taking shape and the mummies will soon be wrapped and placed in their coffins. Battle of the Brains is fast-approaching. Be looking for a permission slip. Students will take tests to see who gets to go and the areas they will compete.
5th Grade: We have begun the journey west. The Gold Rush was great but now we are ready to saddle up and study the Pony Express, its demise thanks to the telegraph, and we will see the final spike driven on the Transcontinental Railroad. Battle of the Brains is fast-approaching. Be looking for a permission slip. Students will take tests to see who gets to go and the areas they will compete.
Advanced Science: We have finished our first chapter! We have learned alot through labs, literacy, writing, discussion, and interactives. Sir Isaac Newton here we come!
