CHS December 2019 Students of the Month

Congratulations to our December Students of the Month at CHS. Teachers choose these students because they are "good students" recognized for working hard, helping others, asking thoughtful questions, and persevering. These work ethics will help them succeed in life. These students represent our school motto: Excellence For All - Excellence From All.

  • Brooklyn Doonkeen has grown up around music and is currently a part of our Jazz and Show choir. In the fall, you can find her on the CHS volleyball court; in the winter, she's supporting the wrestling team as a mat-maid. Throughout the year, she is a part of making CHS a positive place through her involvement in STUCO and Christian Club.
  • Beau Newman starts off the year representing CHS in cross country and finishes the year on our soccer field. He's also active in Student Council contributing to the culture of our student body.

  • Brooklyn Boatman serves as a Sophomore Rep in National Honor Society and has been a part of coordinating the annual CHS NHS Hope Race for Education. She is also in FFA and runs track.
  • Keith Wiginton is the 2nd recipient involved in the Jazz and Mixed Choir programs. Each week, Keith helps coordinate the FCA activities for CHS.

  • Kaylee Ward has taken to the water as a part of our swim team and is active in the Native American Student Association.
  • Max Stadler hits the trifecta for the choir program students receiving SOM recognition, this month, as a member of the Jazz and Mixed choir. Max is also on the football team and wears his red & white with pride. Throughout the year, Max uses his experience to mentor incoming freshmen in our FUZE program.

  • Riley Renfroe is the 4th choir member to receive this honor this month. She's no stranger to the stage as she has performed for the Jazz and Show Choir since her freshman year. Riley has also been on the volleyball team for four years.
  • Bryant Brasher is a member of the golf team and attends FCA. You may recognize him from our ZTV broadcasts as a weekly contributor in front of and behind the camera.
