ATHLETIC PASSES (updated 8.2.21)

ON SALE IN THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR'S OFFICE (HIGH SCHOOL GYM) the second week in August.   

  • Mon. – Fri. / 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM - Closed for Lunch 12:00 – 1:00 PM
  • Family passes $200.00 up to five in the immediate family ($10 for each add on)
  • Individual or Student Pass $100.00
  • These passes are for general admission to all home sporting events including Jr. High and High School Exceptions:  tournaments, festivals, &/or play-offs
  • RESERVE FOOTBALL SEATS $50.00 for all home games.  If you purchase a family pass you may purchase reserve football seats at half price.

BUSES/TRANSPORTATION 

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, the transportation department is working diligently to create the most efficient routes for our students who will ride a bus. To do that, we need your help. Please complete this Bus Rider Registration if you anticipate your child riding a CPS bus to/from school 80% of the time. 

Please be on the lookout for an email Welcoming you to the StopFinder App. This app is our new transportation app that contains information regarding your student's bus schedule.

FRESHMAN ORIENTATION PARENT MEETING

8:30 AM - Parents & students will meet in the PAC for a brief 30-minute meeting with the 9th-grade counselor, Asst. Principal, Principal, and other key personnel to go over new requirements, school schedules, and additional relevant information. We encourage parents to attend but it is not required for your child to attend orientation. 

FRESHMAN ORIENTATION  

Claremore High School’s annual freshman orientation program will be on August 5th from 8:30 AM - 11 AM.  This program introduces students to the high school campus with tours of the facilities, a variety of team-building activities, and all things that instill #CPSZEBRAPRIDE.

The event is staffed by CHS administrators, teachers, and  FUZE mentors (juniors and seniors). The morning will start with a brief parent meeting that will introduce you to staff, new policies, and procedures.  Following this meeting, the #CHSClassof2025 will be paired with FUZE mentors in small groups for the daily activities. The mentors will also work to connect with the students throughout the year as they navigate the various success, challenges, and experiences this new year will bring. 

“Freshman orientation was designed to connect students with the people, places, and information they need to be successful in high school,” said CHS Principal - Dr. Kenny Hindenburg.  “Our hope is that participation in orientation will help students feel at home so they may grow personally and academically.”  

To lay the groundwork for a successful 2021-22 high school year, incoming CHS freshmen are encouraged to attend this orientation.

Johnson-O'Malley (JOM) School Supply Distribution - August 5th & 10th from 2 - 6 PM

Students with their official Native American membership &/or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood).  JOM students may pick up their school supplies at the Education Service Center located at 101 W. 11th Street on the dates listed below. Students who have previously enrolled in JOM do not need to do so again.  New students who qualify need to bring their trial membership card in their name or be on the current JOM roster. New students after these dates will have their supplies delivered to their school site once school begins.

MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT / August 10th

  • Elementary  1:00 - 3:00PM / 5:15 - 7:00PM Schedule an appointment through myconferencetime.  Teachers will email you the link. Bring your school supplies.  If you have questions contact your site principal. 
  • WRJH  6 PM - 7:30 PM Come & Go - You may pick up schedules if you have not done so already.
  • CHS 6 PM - 7:30 PM Come & Go - You may pick up schedules if you have not done so already.  Meet teachers and pick up supply lists. Browse the clubs and organizations and buy ZEBRA Gear.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT / BACK TO SCHOOL BASH:  August 3rd, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Claremore Lake Park Splash Pad

The Claremore Police Department, Volunteers for Youth and the Healthy Community Partnership, are hosting the “Back to School Bash at National Night Out” on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Claremore Lake Park Splash Pad.  

Local organizations will give away free school supplies and family resource information.  Children will also be able to get sports physicals, a free back-to-school haircut and school immunizations will be provided by the Rogers County Health Department. COVID Antibody testing and COVID vaccinations will also be offered. 

There will be several family-friendly activities, including live music, fun and play features for the children, free drinks, and free pizza.  

Claremore Police Officers will be on-hand to answer any questions and to interact with anyone interested in promoting safety and security within our community.

SCHEDULE PICK-UP 

Enrollment paperwork must be turned in to receive your class schedule.  After August 2nd schedules will be available electronically through the parent portal. 

  • 10th - 12th students who have not picked up their schedules may do so daily from 8a-3p.  Enter through the West Student Entrance. 
  • 6th graders WRJH on Thursday, August 5 from 10 AM - 2 PM.
  • 7th graders WRJH on August 4th,  from 10 AM - 2 PM (must have had their Tdap booster to get their schedule).
  • 8th graders WRJH on August 3rd from 10 AM - 2 PM.
  • August 5th - Freshman CHS during orientation on August 5 from  8:30a - 11a.
