EVENTS & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES


Will there be a Meet The Teacher Night?
Yes. Each site will have individual procedures, and we will post them here and on all our platforms when they are available.

  • Claremore High School - Also, teachers will have introduction videos available on our website before the first day of school. We will post links here and on all our platforms when they are available.

Will the Junior High have their Open House?
Yes, Open House will take place in-person and by appointment only for 6th grade and new students. The procedures will be posted here and on all our platforms when they are available.

Will the HS have Freshman Orientation?
Yes, our FUZE team will conduct orientation virtually. We will post links here and on all our platforms when they are available.

Will there be field trips?
No. However, we will encourage teachers to utilize our new technology and take students on virtual tours.

Will there be class parties?
No.

How will band work?
The band will practice outside as much as possible. Students will learn theory when inside and practice if/when social distancing can be accomplished.

Will virtual/hybrid learning meet NCAA requirements?
Yes. See the attached resources.

Will there be assemblies?
Informative assemblies, yes, but only when we can socially distance students.

What is considered extra-curricular?
Clubs that do not have a classroom component. Native American Club, Young Democrats or Republicans, NHS, FUZE, Running Club, VAST, etc.

What is considered co-curricular? 
Clubs, organizations, athletics that have a classroom component (some are competitive). Ie: TSA, StuCo, Band, Theater, FCCLA, Academic Team, Skills USA, Sports that practice during the school day.
