Technology is revolutionizing the way hospitals operate, particularly in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room (ER). By reimagining the ER experience through the integration of advanced technologies, hospitals can greatly improve patient outcomes, efficiency, and overall satisfaction. Digital triage systems powered by artificial intelligence can prioritize patients more accurately and reduce waiting times. Electronic health records and real-time data sharing allow medical teams to make faster, more informed decisions. Wearable devices and remote monitoring tools provide continuous updates on patient vitals, ensuring critical changes are detected immediately.  Biomedical Innovation students are examining how to create efficiencies in the hospital emergency room visit.   The CHS Biomedical students visited the ER in September and are now conducting research and models on how to improve the ER experience.

We want to recognize Mrs. Gonzalez for using one of the CPS core values of Innovation to creatively help her students work towards another core value of Excellence through the acronym G.R.I.T. (another core value):

G – Get your grade up

R – Read

I – Independent study

T – Test/quiz

By bringing G.R.I.T. to life in her Spanish I and II classes, she’s helping students work toward Excellence. G.R.I.T. Day #1 was a success as students focused on missing assignments, retest qualifiers, essays, and tests!
