The Claremore Zebra wrestling team has taken on Bartlesville, Owasso, Bishop Kelley and have been extremely successful. These are the first duals of the season and the Zebras came out on top both times. These student athletes are working towards the goal of going to dual state and bringing home a title. In order to have a successful season the team is putting in a lot of hard work with rigorous practices and early morning workouts in the new performance center. After speaking with some of the wrestlers it is looking like we will have a productive season:
Matt Franklin, a senior wrestler, says his motivation for this year comes from his teammates and wanting everyone to have a successful year as they work as a team.
Cooper Zickefoose, a junior wrestler, says fans can look forward to an entertaining year because this is a hard working team who enjoys pushing themselves in order to reach their goal.
Landon Cates, a junior wrestler, says this year is going to hopefully field with several underdog wins for the zebras and looks forward to being a wrestler that his teammates can rely on him to win no matter what.

Mark your calendar for this Saturday, December 9th, at the Cox Business Center to support your CHS Varsity Dance Team at state. They’ll be competing against talented teams from all over the state in Hip Hop, Jazz, Kick, and Mix. The team has been practicing since April and have been working hard for this important day. They are extremely excited to finally display all their routines. Good luck ladies and take state! If you want to come out and support your CHS dance team, admission is 10 dollars and we will be performing multiple times.
