You've heard of TED Talks right? Well, Mr. Noland's AP English Language and Composition class presented ZED Talks. The Z stands for Zebras! The students presented their ZED talks as their class capstone project. It involved a 5-7 minute oral presentation over a topic of their choosing. As rhetoric is the art of persuasion, the students have been hard at work preparing for these presentations all semester through essay analysis, writing, and performance. Their goal is to tell their audience why their topics matter.

Art Club Students had the privilege of traveling to The Art Museum Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, AR. Students went through a guided Mindfulness and Art tour. This tour encouraged students to try and block all of the distractions of our daily life and enjoy the artwork before them and the place around them. As teachers, Mrs. Hoffer and Ms. Mercer teach their students about Space and how to create it in an artwork, but they also discuss how the space and artwork is housed in has a huge impact on a viewers relationship with the Art. Students had the opportunity to experience this concept on this field trip!
