CHS HOMECOMING COURT 𝐑𝐲𝐧𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 Representing: Student Council Other student activities involved in: SkillsUSA, Young Democrats, Academic Team, SAGA, FUZE, Native American Student Association, Dead Poet's Society, World Language Club, Astronomy Club, and Improv. What are your future plans? I plan to study at OSU for a dual mechanical and aerospace engineering degree. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part of being a Zebra is grazing in the African savanna. The Class of 2023 voted and chose 16 to represent them on the Homecoming Court. My future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University to attain a degree in Elementary Education to become a first-grade teacher. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part of being a Zebra is being an athletic trainer and being able to look back on all the great memories I have made with that organization. In the future, I plan on attending OSU or ORU majoring in Business and Minoring in Political Science. Favorite part of being a Zebra? My favorite part about being a Zebra is there is so much that CHS has to offer. Anyone can be involved in whatever they like. CHS Seniors & Parents September 28 is College App Day at CPS!!!! Seniors will be able to fill out FREE college applications for Oklahoma public institutions. These sessions, staffed by GEAR UP, will be held in senior English and social studies classes. If your student does NOT have one of these classes this semester, please have them come to ENCORE in the library on this day. The FAFSA opens October 1. Sarah Adcock, GEAR UP College Coach, did senior presentations last week and had each student create an FSAID. If you have questions about creating your FSAID, please see Mrs. Kiel at CHS. One parent has to have an individual FSAID along with the students log in to start the process. College Connection is October 11. We will be hosting informative sessions on FAFSA and Oklahoma’s Promise.
