🎭🎬 Last Monday, several of our Junior High students attended the Oklahoma Arts Institute’s Quartz Preview Day in Tulsa! This free event featured a hands-on workshop with Tyler Woods, Executive Artistic Director of Oklahoma Shakespeare, who shared his expertise and passion for the arts. Students also received valuable tips about auditioning for the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. What an amazing opportunity to learn and grow! 🌟

Elementary students across Claremore were treated to special performances by members of the Claremore High School Band before winter break! 🎶🥁 The festive music and sing-alongs brought smiles and joy to everyone, while giving our young students a glimpse into the fun and excitement of being part of the band. Experiences like these help spark curiosity and inspire the musicians of tomorrow to explore the incredible world of music!





Room 701 Jazz students had an incredible opportunity to participate in a jazz clinic with the talented Mike Plunkett! 🎶✨ Workshops like these provide amazing learning experiences, helping our students refine their skills and deepen their passion for jazz. Claremont students had a special treat as the Interactive Program of Lyric Theatre brought the magic of The Sound of Music right to our school! 🎭✨ Thanks to the generosity of incredible sponsors, this program introduces students to the joy of live theatre through educational and inspiring performances—completely free for schools. Right before winter break, one of our digital pianos got the VIP treatment—riding in style on a school bus to Tulsa for repairs! 🎹🚌 Even our most cherished instruments need a little TLC now and then. We’re excited to have it back soon, good as new and ready to make music!

Roosa Elementary and Westside Elementary students recently wowed us with their festive performances, each bringing holiday cheer in their own special way! 🎶🎄 It was a joy to see the talent and hard work of these young performers! ✨ We’re thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement by Alana Brady, one of our talented 8th-grade artists! She won 1st Place in the 7th & 8th grade division (Pencil, Charcoal, Pastel, Colored Pencil, Crayon, Marker category) at the JOM 2024 Art Competition! 🏆🎉 But that’s not all—out of 1,000 artworks from 31 schools, Alana’s piece was also selected as Best of Show! ✏️🌟 This is an extraordinary accomplishment, and we couldn’t be prouder of her talent and dedication. Congratulations, Alana! 👏
