Happy National Assistant Principal's Week!
This week, weβre shining a spotlight on the incredible dedication and tireless work of our iconic trio of assistant principals: Mr. Warren, Ms. Golbek, and Mr. Short!
Theyβre in early, they stay late, and they somehow manage to be everywhere at once β supporting students, lifting up staff, and making sure things run smoothly from the first bell to the last. Whether itβs a quick hallway check-in, a calm presence during chaos, or a thoughtful word when itβs needed most β theyβre always there.
Weβre so thankful for your commitment, your energy, and the way you lead with purpose and care.
Thank you, Mr. Warren, Ms. Golbek, and Mr. Short β you make every day a great day to be a Zebra!

Ms. Golbekβs class studied how live earthworms reacted to environmental cues that earthworms encounter everyday in the world. The students studied the effects of light, moisture, and chemical odor stimulus influenced each of their wiggly friendβs behaviors and choices. This helped to show not only worm habits but also how human activities could impact the life of our soil cycling buddies!
A rep from the University of North Texas will be here on Monday, April 14 during Encore in the Think Tank. Their mission is, "at the University of North Texas, our caring and creative community empowers our students to thrive in a rapidly changing world." Sign up with Mrs. Adcock to learn more about what UNT has to offer!

Senior Girls.
Please see the invite below for your formal invitation to the annual Senior Tea event. This cherished tradition is a special opportunity for our senior girls and their mothers or guests to make lasting memories together.

Last week, our special education department went above and beyond to spoil our amazing paraprofessionals, and they deserved every bit of it!
These incredible individuals work tirelessly behind the scenesβoffering support, care, and guidance to our students and staff every single day. Whether it's helping in the classroom, offering a listening ear, or going the extra mile to make a difference, our paras are true superheroes.
We are so thankful for their dedication, patience, and the positive energy they bring to CHS. Our school wouldnβt be the same without them!
Drop a comment to help us celebrate these rockstars!
