The halls are full, the classrooms are buzzing, and we are so excited to have our students back! 🎉
From marching band and choir to drama and art, our Fine Arts students are already bringing energy and creativity to the new school year. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year!
Here’s to an amazing year, Zebras! 🦓✨
#ZEBRAPRIDE

With the school year just around the corner, our Marching Band is turning up the intensity at camp. Every morning, our students are out in the heat, repeating the same steps, counts, and movements over and over to build the precision and consistency it takes to perform at a high level.
It may be hot, and the work may be tough, but these students continue to show up, push through, and put in the work. That dedication is what makes the final performance so special.
We can't wait to see them bring all that hard work to life at our Teachers Welcome Back Rally and give our staff a first look at what's in store for marching season!
Keep putting in the work, Zebras. The payoff is coming! ❤️🦓

Behind every incredible halftime show and competition performance are countless hours of hard work, discipline, and dedication. While the music is a huge part of marching band, so is the precision of every single step and that's exactly what our students are working on during camp.
Day after day, they're pushing themselves through marching fundamentals, learning that every step, every count, and every movement matters. It takes focus, grit, teamwork, and perseverance to perform at a high level, and these students continue to rise to the challenge.
We are so proud of the commitment our band members show to their craft. Their willingness to put in the work now is what makes the magic happen under the Friday night lights and on the competition field.
The season is just getting started, and we can't wait to see all of their hard work come to life! ❤️🦓

During the prestigious two-week program, Shayne joined some of Oklahoma's most talented young artists to strengthen artistic skills, learn from accomplished instructors, and collaborate with peers from across the state.
We're so proud of Shayne for representing Claremore Public Schools with creativity, dedication, and excellence. A special thank you to Ms. Hoffer for investing in our students and helping inspire opportunities like this!
And thank you to Robert Schornick for sharing Shayne's story with us so we could celebrate this outstanding accomplishment with our Zebra community!❤️🦓

Our Percussion and Color Guard students kicked things off with an action-packed three-day camp, spending hours sharpening their skills, learning new techniques, and preparing for another exciting season. Every rehearsal, every rep, and every routine is laying the foundation for what's to come this fall.
The excitement doesn't stop there, Marching Band Camp is now underway! As the rest of the band joins in, all the pieces will begin coming together to create the performances you've been waiting to see.
These students are putting in the work now so they can shine under the Friday night lights and on the competition field later this season. We can't wait to watch this year's show come to life.
Stay tuned... marching season is just getting started! ❤️🦓
Campers also had the opportunity to tour the Robson Performing Arts Center, giving them a firsthand look at everything that goes into bringing a production to life. From what happens on stage to all the work behind the scenes, students discovered that theatre is truly a team effort.
A huge thank you to our campers for embracing new challenges and to the parents and families who continue to support the arts!❤️🦓

After a week of learning new music, refining their skills, and growing as musicians, our Jazz Summit campers took the stage for a fantastic end-of-camp concert. Their hard work, dedication, and passion were on full display as they performed for family, friends, and community members.
We're so proud of every student who stepped outside their comfort zone, embraced the challenge, and showcased everything they accomplished throughout the week.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support these young musicians. Your encouragement means the world to our campers and helps our Fine Arts programs continue to thrive. Thank you for investing in our students and celebrating the arts with us. ❤️🦓

What an incredible four days of creativity, learning, and fun! Under the guidance of our amazing art teachers, Ms. Hoffer and Ms. Mercer, campers explored new artistic techniques through tie-dye, linoleum printing, Batik fabric dyeing, painting, and so much more. Every project gave students the opportunity to express themselves, build new skills, and let their creativity shine.
A big thank you to all of our talented campers for bringing such enthusiasm and imagination to the studio each day. We also want to thank the parents and families who came out to support the end-of-camp showcase and continue encouraging the arts in our schools. Your support means so much to our students and teachers.
As an added bonus, Art Camp also serves as a fundraiser for our art program, helping provide new tools, supplies, and opportunities for students throughout the upcoming school year.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Art Camp such a memorable success! ❤️🦓

Catalayah's 3rd–5th grade students in Mrs. Ratcliff’s art classes showed off their creativity by designing and making personalized bookmarks!
Students started by sketching their ideas, then brought them to life using Sharpies, alcohol markers, and acrylic paint markers. They finished their projects by adding a protective covering and choosing colorful tassels to make each bookmark unique.
The results are amazing, and each bookmark reflects the creativity and hard work of our students. A big thank you to Mrs. Ratcliff for leading such a fun and creative project!
We love seeing our students creativity shine! 🌟

The halls are filled with music once again as students from Claremore and neighboring districts come together to learn, collaborate, and grow through jazz. It's been exciting to watch these talented young musicians build new friendships, sharpen their skills, and make music alongside students from across the region.
The best part is still to come! At the end of camp, these students will take the stage for a special performance showcasing everything they've learned throughout the week.
There's nothing better than seeing our schools and communities come together through the power of music. Stay tuned for performance information!🦓

Although we are enjoying the opportunity to recharge, we have not stopped planning. In the spirit of planning, we have created a BACK-TO-SCHOOL page on our website where you can find "all the things" in one place.
We still need to work out a few details, but we will update the webpage weekly as those decisions are made.
👀 From Athletic passes to Zebra Stripes, find out what we know at this time - https://www.claremore.k12.ok.us/o/cps/page/back-to-school

Mr. McClurg’s art students at Westside have been creating lifelike butterflies using vibrant colors against dark backgrounds. Individually, each piece was beautiful—but when displayed together, the artwork truly came to life! 🦋💙💜💛
What a great example of how creativity and collaboration can create something extraordinary. 👏🎨

🎷 WRJH Jazz Band Takes the Stage at the Oologah Jazz Festival! 🎶
This spring, the WRJH Jazz Band took their talents on the road to the Oologah Jazz Festival. Throughout the year, these students have worked hard to learn the language of jazz, develop their musical instincts, and bring their performances to life.
One of the highlights of their performance was watching students step up and volunteer to improvise solos during their set. They did an outstanding job embracing the moment, trusting their skills, and going with the flow—just as great jazz musicians do!
We are incredibly proud of their dedication, growth, and willingness to take musical risks. Great job, WRJH Jazz!
