🎉 A huge congratulations to one of our elementary students, Kylie Cleary, for winning the Storm Water Art Competition! Her beautiful artwork is now displayed on the side of a Claremore trash truck for the whole community to see! 🚛🎉 Last week, Kylie was recognized at the City Council Meeting, and they even got to show off the truck featuring her amazing design. How exciting is that?! We are so proud of Kylie’s creative talent and thrilled to celebrate this wonderful achievement. Keep making us proud, Kylie! 💙🎨





Mr. McClurg’s 5th-grade art students dove into the world of optical illusions and geometric shapes last week! 🎨✨ Through creativity and focus, they explored how lines, patterns, and colors can trick the eye while designing bold, eye-catching works of art. 🔻🔸🔹▪️ Their masterpieces showcase the magic of blending math and art in a way that’s both challenging and fun. 🎭 Rehearsals have officially begun for our spring musical, The Addams Family! Over the coming weeks, students will be hard at work bringing this fun and quirky story to life, utilizing every corner of the PAC—from the Choir Room to the Black Box Theatre and finally to the Main Stage. 📅 Performances are set for April 24–26, so save the date! Details on how to purchase tickets will be announced soon. We can't wait to see all the hard work pay off in what promises to be an amazing production! 👏

🎭🎬 Last Monday, several of our Junior High students attended the Oklahoma Arts Institute’s Quartz Preview Day in Tulsa! This free event featured a hands-on workshop with Tyler Woods, Executive Artistic Director of Oklahoma Shakespeare, who shared his expertise and passion for the arts. Students also received valuable tips about auditioning for the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. What an amazing opportunity to learn and grow! 🌟

Elementary students across Claremore were treated to special performances by members of the Claremore High School Band before winter break! 🎶🥁 The festive music and sing-alongs brought smiles and joy to everyone, while giving our young students a glimpse into the fun and excitement of being part of the band. Experiences like these help spark curiosity and inspire the musicians of tomorrow to explore the incredible world of music!

Claremont students had a special treat as the Interactive Program of Lyric Theatre brought the magic of The Sound of Music right to our school! 🎭✨ Thanks to the generosity of incredible sponsors, this program introduces students to the joy of live theatre through educational and inspiring performances—completely free for schools. Right before winter break, one of our digital pianos got the VIP treatment—riding in style on a school bus to Tulsa for repairs! 🎹🚌 Even our most cherished instruments need a little TLC now and then. We’re excited to have it back soon, good as new and ready to make music!
