JOIN OUR TEAM! Be the first smile our students see in the morning and the last smile they see as they head home. CPS is hiring bus drivers! We are looking for people who love kids, who value an opportunity to positively influence the lives of our students and see these young people as precious cargo.
🚍 District bus drivers work either four or five-hour routes per day. In the past, driving positions have proven to be a good fit for many retirees looking to make extra money while keeping them active in the community. In addition, it is a good income source for college students or parents looking for extra money. Drivers come from diverse backgrounds, but they have one common thread; they enjoy being around and helping the kids.
🚍 If you are interested in becoming a Claremore Public School bus driver, please contact Tim Gilliam, CPS Operations Director, for additional details. The job does require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school and passenger endorsements. The school district will reimburse these costs and starting pay begins at $15 per hour.

Parents and students,
On Friday July 17, Mr. Frazier sent out a video and a powerpoint containing the details of the 3 options for starting school in August. With school starting in less than a month, it is vital for us to know your choice: traditional, virtual, or hybrid. You are allowed to change your decision, but we need to know what you would choose at this time. I am emailing and texting the link to the form along with the powerpoint and video.
Brief description of the options:
Traditional: This will be in class Mon-Thurs and Distance learning from home with their teachers on Fridays.
Virtual School: This will be totally online with instruction powered by Edgenuity. A CPS certified teacher will be assigned to the student to monitor and help.
Hybrid: This is a combination of the traditional and virtual. An example would be a student that wants to participate in band here on campus, but wants to do the rest of his/her classes online. Students will not be allowed to stay on campus during virtual class time. Transportation must be arranged by the parent.
This is a very short description so please either watch the video or view the powerpoint for more information. Then answer the question on the form. It will take approximately 2 minutes to complete, and it is required of all of our students.

Thank you and GO ZEBRAS!!
