Friday Night Football is BREAST CANCER Awareness & MILITARY Appreciation Night. Wear your ZUAC/Pink Out shirts in support of those in our community fighting this disease and as a reminder to get a mammogram. I addition, all military with a valid ID will be admitted free for the game. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

TODAY is ZAP during Encore! CHS students will meet with their Zebra Advisement Program teacher to discuss how they have the power to effect change and how to use that personal power to positively influence others. They will also have some time to work on their ICAP (Individual Career Academic Plan)! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

As technology advances in nearly all fields, the demand for highly skilled workers is at an all-time high. That’s why awareness and advocating for education that thinks outside the box and gives students real-world skills and a direct path to a good-paying job is becoming more critical than ever. Tomorrow all our sophomores will see first-hand what programs our local career-tech has to offer them. Students can attend for free during their 11th & 12th-grade year. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

This is community! Mrs. Hutchins' class at Catalayah is supporting the Lady Zebra Volleyball players today! Nothing is more exciting to a grade school student than the Book Fair. It's a tradition at Claremore FFA to help bring even more joy to a first-grade class each year when the book fair comes to town. Today Claremore FFA purchased each student a $5 book, read it with them, and then spent some time hanging out with a particular student at Roosa Elementary. It's incredible the joy this small act of kindness brings my students as well as the first-grade students. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Rotary Club of Claremore is preparing for the 32nd Annual Rotary Chili Supper on Friday, November 1, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Claremore High School cafeteria. Tickets are $5.00 and include chili, dessert, and drink. With the purchase of a ticket, you will be entered into a drawing for the pictured Zebra quilt (need not be present to win). All proceeds benefit the Claremore Public Schools Foundation. Tickets are available from any Rotary Club member, at the door or the Claremore Public Schools Foundation office. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Remember NOT ALL CANCER IS PINK; therefore, we will be raising money all year as we support our staff & students that are battling a variety of cancers.
