There is a Talent Search workshop in the library during Encore on Feb. 26th. If you are part of the RSU or NSU Talent Search program, this workshop is for you!
The Talent Search program identifies and assists students who are first in their family to go to college and/or come from a low-income household and have the potential to succeed in higher education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to and complete their postsecondary education. If you're interested in signing up, email Sarah Adcock at sadcock@claremore.k12.ok.us.

What an incredible day in Graphic Design Studio class! Students had the exciting opportunity to create their own custom-designed T-shirts using DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers. For the first time, they got hands-on experience with the brand-new heat press, bringing their creative visions to life. Adding to the excitement, a generous community member donated high-quality T-shirts, making the experience even more special. Mrs. Davis guided the class through the DTF process, teaching them the ins and outs of this professional printing technique. The energy in the room was contagious as students pressed their unique designs onto shirts, gaining both technical skills and a deeper appreciation for the world of graphic design!

To conclude English 3's unit on The Crucible, Ms. Thorne organized an escape room that allowed students to engage with the key themes and plot points of the play in an interactive and collaborative way. Students worked in small groups to solve a series of puzzles and challenges, all related to characters, themes, and important quotes from the play. Each task required critical thinking, teamwork, and a deeper analysis of The Crucible. The final challenge involved unlocking a hidden "message" that tied back to the lessons learned from the text. The students were enthusiastic, and the activity sparked great discussions afterward.
