Claremore High School's Adult Living class recently wrapped up a chapter on etiquette, and the students had the opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge to the test during an engaging etiquette meal. This practical exercise was aimed at applying what they had learned about dining etiquette. To make the experience even more hands-on, the students took charge of preparing the entire menu. The meal included delectable dishes such as Chicken Parmesan with garlic noodles, glazed carrots, green bean casserole, and fresh Italian herb bread. The event not only provided a fun and delicious opportunity for students to showcase their culinary skills but also allowed them to gain valuable insights into the nuances of proper dining etiquette, ensuring they are well-prepared for future social and professional engagements.

Claremore High School had an eventful week filled with a diverse range of activities and preparations. Students took on the challenge of ACT and Pre-ACT testing, demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence. As the week coincided with Halloween, the school spirit was on full display with an exciting Halloween Dress Up Day, where students and faculty alike donned creative costumes, creating a lively and festive atmosphere throughout the school. The anticipation was palpable as everyone was getting ready for the big football game scheduled for Friday against Collinsville, with the school buzzing with excitement. This week was a testament to the students' ability to balance academics, fun, and school spirit, showcasing the vibrant and dynamic culture at Claremore High School.
Claremore High School's SkillsUSA meeting today was a vibrant and productive gathering that brought together a diverse group of students eager to hone their vocational and leadership skills. The meeting began with a warm welcome from the Claremore High School Band. The club’s officers, highlighting the importance of fostering teamwork and personal growth through Skills USA. Attendees discussed upcoming competitions, fundraising initiatives, and community service projects, showcasing their dedication to both individual development and giving back to the community. It was evident that the students were highly motivated and enthusiastic about their involvement in this organization, making it a promising start to a successful year of learning and growth within Claremore High School's SkillsUSA chapter. This meeting was also a Tech Connect event where attended by teachers and administrators from the four technology centers Stay tuned for the next story on Skills USA and how our Claremore High School Students are making a difference in the lives of others in the surrounding communities.

Claremore High School's Senior Day was an unforgettable event that left students with essential life skills and cherished memories. The day began with an invaluable presentation from North East Tech and Baker Hughes. Next, the Army National Guard conducted hands-on CPR training, equipping the graduating seniors with potentially life-saving techniques. After the informative session, the students indulged in a delightful array of recreational activities, including tug of war, board games, karaoke, corn hole, and more. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and camaraderie as the students bonded over friendly competitions and shared laughter. Claremore High School staff played a crucial role in coordinating the event, ensuring that the day was not only educational but also a memorable celebration of their senior year. Oklahoma State University, Rose State College, Tulsa University, Tulsa Community College, Holberton Tulsa and North East Tech representatives were there to hand out information and answer questions for our seniors. This unique combination of learning and leisure made Senior Day an outstanding and unforgettable experience for the Class of 2023.
