Baker Hughes and their team spoke to our students about the company and different career possibilities they offer. Their team which was made up of several different department leaders demonstrated how their Claremore plant is making an impact across the world. Personal life stories from their employees were shared with the students about how they were able to work their way up in the company. It was a great presentation for our kids to see they don’t have to move far away to find a career that will allow them to see the world and impact it for the better.

Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894. This weekend, as we spend time with our families and friends, celebrate the value of an honest day’s work, the people who built America, and our nation’s advancements because of the American labor force.
