Happy Teacher Appreciation week to all of our Claremont staff! Each one of you works tirelessly to meet the needs of our students, provide a safe and loving place for them to want to be each day, and give them the best education possible!
You're Our Superheroes!!
We are thankful for you!

For Teacher Appreciation week, we want to highlight some of our teachers "WHY."
This is WHY they teach. Mrs. Camber teaches because she "wants better for our future. Our future is in my classroom, so let the change begin with me."

Anchor charts are powerful teaching tools for students, especially visual learners! They help students recognize learning goals, review concepts, and establish learning expectations.
Mrs. Bradfield uses anchor charts in her classroom with any subject they cover!

What is a modern-day school librarian? At CPS they are media specialists, teachers, hope givers, a safe haven, the IT help desk, and more. Three of our district media specialists tell us more about themselves and their craft.

2nd grade students in Mrs. Howell's class work on prefixes and suffixes with a Spin, Say, Write, Explain activity.

My name is Vicki Millsap and I currently teach 3rd grade. I have also taught 2nd Grade, and Kindergarten (para). I have been in education for 13 years, and at CPS for 6. I attended Oklahoma State University.
I have been married to Brad for 20 years in September and we have a temperamental Chiweenie, Jasper. In my spare time I love to read, make cards, go to church and spend time with my family.
I love Claremont because Claremont is a team, a family, and a community. I love that we are a TEAM of common teachers working TOGETHER to obtain uncommon results!
