5th graders learn about Snap Circuits in Innovation Lab! Snap Circuits teaches basic engineering, electronics and circuitry concepts by using building components with snaps to assemble electronic circuits on a simple “rows-and-columns” base grid. The resulting projects function like the printed circuit board found in most electronic products.

My name is Misty Schell and I teach 4th grade. I have been in education for 5 years and all 5 of those have been at CPS. I attended the University of Oklahoma where I received my Bachelors of Business Administration. I have been married to my husband Josh for 16 years and we have two sons, Jackson and Ben. In my spare time, I enjoy exercise, reading and traveling. I love the people I work with. Our jobs can be extremely stressful and without their support and guidance I wouldn't be the teacher I am.

Start the New Year off with a positive outlook and choose one of the challenges below or create your own. Encourage your family or friends to pick their challenge and support each other along the way.

“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you'll ever know.” — A.A. Milne It's no secret that we believe that Claremont's teachers are the best out there. Our educators work so hard to meet the needs of every student who walks into their classroom. Our teachers - they have grit. They go above and beyond every single day to be a light, a landing place, a source of comfort and yes, a teacher to their students. Claremont teachers, know that you are appreciated. You are cared for and we believe that you are the best of the best! Also know that you are braver, you are stronger, you are smarter and you are loved. By your admin, by your fellow staff members, by your students and by your community.
