Mr. Scharabok reads The Polar Express to Mrs. Howell's class. We are so thankful that here at Claremont, our administrators are always willing to come into a classroom and participate in a way that encourages positive relationships with our students.

2nd grade students learn about matter - what is a solid, liquid and gas? What is the difference between the three?
Pre-K students begin their day with Mrs. Camber. Mrs. Camber is such an exceptional Pre-K teacher!

My name is Mrs. Halbrook. I love teaching! I have been teaching since January 2006. I spent 10 years teaching Pre-Kindergarten, 3 years teaching Kindergarten and this will be my second year teaching First Grade here at Claremont. This is my fourth year teaching at Claremont Elementary. My husband and I have two kiddos at home, one is in 8th Grade and the youngest one is in the Pre-Kindergarten here at Claremont. We love animals and have five dogs and two cats. We enjoy relaxing when we can and love to spend our days by the pool. My favorite quote is "Today is a good day, to have a good day."

Here are some photos from some of our prize winners! Again, we are so thankful for our Partners in Education, RCB and RSU for making this happen!

Fridays with Frazier moves from COVID and computers to the magic that happens in the classroom.
This week we feature Mrs. Laurie Titsworth’s Pre-K class at Westside Elementary School, where they incorporated the magic of the season to teach letters, sounds, reinforce colors, introduce graphing, all tied together with a bow and a book.

Our 5th graders use their devices for every subject. Here, one of our students are working on math!
This is why it is so important that students bring their devices to school, that they are fully charged and that they are only used at home for school purposes.
These laptops are used every day in instruction!

Happy Holidays!
Please remember as you celebrate this year to:
-Wear a mask!
-Wash your hands!
-Practice social distancing!
We hope you have a happy and restful Christmas break!

Our student's are really enjoying the Innovation Lab! Here 4th grade is working on a K'Nex challenge using a program called Launch Pad. In this lesson, student's learn how to problem solve using mechanics and structures in the design process.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Today marks the first day of a long holiday break.
May you and your loved ones make the most of this time together during this Christmas season. Many of us are looking forward to sending 2020 on its way and ringing in a new year filled with hope in 2021.
We will see you again when that school bell rings on January 4th.
