There was a very special guest in our building yesterday! Claremore Chief of Police Steve Cox visited several classrooms to read a book as part of our Read Across America festivities! It was a lot of fun and we were honored to have him join us! Thank you, Chief Cox! We appreciate you!

Maysa Sawney from the Eastern Oklahoma Dental Institute visited our kindergartners to discuss which foods help maintain healthy teeth, the correct way to brush teeth, and the consequences of not brushing regularly.

Today we wear red in celebration of Public Schools Week. In Oklahoma, 700,000 students are served in public schools. Mrs. Peck's 1st-grade class hosted Rise and Shine at the end of Kindness Week. They sang a song about the ways we can show love to others. It was a wonderful reminder to us all to make sure our friends and family know we love them.
