PTA Mrs. Allison Alexander came as a guest speaker on Halloween morning! She brought models of a spine, pelvis and a full skeleton.
Thanks to her visit, all second grade learned more outstanding facts about their skeletal system.

One of our amazing classroom volunteers, Mrs. Clemons, visited Mrs. Ward's class to create some fall fun! Students created fall leaves and hedgehogs out of glue and tissue paper. This hands on activity is great small-motor skill practice!

What a spoooooky day!

BizTown was quite the experience for our 5th graders! Students had the ability to see what it's like to hold a position at a business and what day to day business operations look like! They earned a paycheck, got to spend their paycheck, paid bills, paid off loans, ran payroll, and worked together to make their businesses a success.
What a day!

Sip, Share, and Support! 🍋 This November, enjoy the refreshing taste of Chick-fil-A sweet tea and lemonade at your gatherings while contributing to a great cause. For every gallon you grab, Chick-fil-A donates $2 to the Claremore Public School Foundation! Let's top last year's $1,500 donation and reach our $4,000 goal for class and teacher grants district-wide. Cheers to #CPSZEBRAPRIDE!

We want to give a shout out to all of our PTO parents who helped make candy grams a success!! We were blown away by all of the help the PTO received, and the many parents who volunteered their time to help students purchase candy grams and then pass them out!

Congratulations to our Claremont Site Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Lauren Camber!
Mrs. Camber has been in education for 9 years. She has a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and teaches Pre-K. Mrs. Camber has been married to her husband Shawn for 9 years, and has one daughter who is in first grade.
Mrs. Camber teaches because "I didn't enjoy school and don't remember it being "fun." I became a teacher to put the "fun" back in school. Nothing gives me more joy than to see young kids want to come to school and participate in fun ways of learning. I am a kid at heart, and I can leave the adult world for a bit everyday and be silly and have fun with my students."
Give Mrs. Camber a round of applause and a big congratulations in the comments! We know she represents Claremont well!
