Today was such a great first day back to school! Teachers were excited to see their students, and students were excited to be back in the building as well! We can't wait to see what is in store for this second half of our school year!

We love WIN Time! WIN Time is so important to our teachers and students because it gives targeted instruction to students where they need it most. Because every staff member in our building has a WIN Group, our group sizes are able to stay small and students receive more one-on-one instruction.

Good afternoon, these past few weeks have been an excellent respite for our Zebra families, but we are now ready to embrace the educational opportunities 2021 will bring. Tomorrow, Jan. 4th, classes will resume at their regularly scheduled time at all our sites.
We will continue to implement our COVID protocols: wear a mask, watch our social distancing, and frequently wash hands . Please come prepared with the mask that was provided at the beginning of the year or a personal one.
As we continue to mitigate the COVID-19 virus, we ask you, please stay home and contact your principal immediately if you have any of the following within the last week:
1. have been in direct contact with a COVID case,
2. had a positive test within the 10 days
3. are waiting on the results of a COVID test, or
4. are showing any symptoms.
We look forward to the lightbulb moments, personal growth, and all our Zebras filling up the halls with the laughter, chatter, and smiles they bring with them.

Don't forget about this awesome opportunity! No Library Card? Apply for a temporary E-Card at Will Rogers Library and access our digital resources from home! For those who are interested in our digital services but do not currently have a library card, we’re instituting a temporary Electronic Services card.👏👏👏 The library offers E-Books, E-Audiobooks, Streaming Video and E-Magazines! Each has their own catalog of digital downloads, which can be found under the E-books link on the library home page. Any patron in good standing will be able to download e-materials to their personal computer, smartphone, E-reader or listening device. Please call the Will Rogers Library at 918-341-1564 to apply. We will need your name, birth date and address in Rogers County to set up this card. For those under 18, we will also need a parent's name, birth date and address. 📚👏😍🤩

We had so much fun showing Mr. Frazier around Claremont that we can't stop talking about it! 2nd Graders in Mrs. Howell's class had a great time showing him what they were doing in their math stations.

4th graders get to see the new gym for the first time! Before beginning class, Mrs. Steuart talks about new procedures for the new gym. We are all so excited that this part of our building is finished!

1st grade students practice for a readers theater.
Readers theater is a way to involve students in reading aloud. In Readers Theater, students "perform" by reading scripts created from on grade-level books or stories.

My name is Kristen Bradfield. I teach Kindergarten. I have been in education for 12 years, 6 of those being with CPS. I attended Northeastern State University and received a degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have been married to my husband for 19 years! We have a daughter and a son.
I enjoy camping with family and friends, fishing, running, and watching my kids play sports.
I love Claremont - the things I love best are THE KIDS - they are like one of my own. And of course, you cannot find a better group of teachers and staff to help you get through the day. We have a lot of fun!

5th graders in Mrs. Bowens class work on writing. Writing is such an important skill for students to master!

"Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
Kindergarten students drew their own snowmen in Mrs. Francis' art class and when finished, were given time to free draw.

Mr. Scharabok helps one of our Kindergarten students with his mask. One of the things we have noticed during this pandemic is that students have adjusted so well to wearing their masks. We are thankful to have the support of our community with the procedures put forth to keep our students and staff safe!

Mrs. Fay reading to one of our 1st grade classes. We love that our principal jumps right on in and takes the time to build relationships with our students!

Merry Christmas from all of us at Claremont! We hope your day is full of love, kindness, thankfulness, and hope.

On this day of gift giving and receiving, remember that friendship is one of the greatest gifts.
