->How long have you been at CPS? "I have been at CPS since 2016."
->What made you want to be an Assistant Principal? "I have been teaching for 23 years. During those years I have taught Technology Education and Instrumental Music. I believe that I can make a larger positive impact for more students as an Assistant Principal. "
->What is your favorite thing about CPS? "The sense of community and family that I have found at this district is unlike anything I experienced elsewhere in education."
->What are you most looking forward to this year? "Getting to the Students, Parents and Teachers that make up the Claremont Community and learning how I can best be of service to them."

The National Night Out Back to School Bash event scheduled for August 1st, presented by the Claremore Police Dept. (CPD) and Healthy Community Partnership, has been postponed. Due to the high temperatures forecasted for this week, they have decided to reschedule this year’s event to October 3rd. The plan is to have the same event with an expectation of cooler temperatures. 1st grade students in Mrs. Pecks' class loved their Battle of the Books! Mrs. Peck read several different books to her students that they would then vote on to be able to move to the next round!

Claremont Kindergartners had some very special guests nearing the end of school as we were close to celebrating Memorial Day. To share the importance of the day, Mrs. Bradfield invited cadets, Andrew Hickman and Jaci Charles folded the American flag and taught her students the meaning of folding the flag.
