We are thrilled to announce even more new additions to our Claremont team! Next up, Mrs. Kinzer - Kindergarten.
"Why Claremont?" Claremont welcomed me as a first year teacher, the community support that I have received and felt since I first walked through the doors has made my transition into this year great!
"What are you most excited about this year?" I am excited to grow with my Kindergarten students this year! This being my first year teaching I am excited to learn from all my peers teaching strategies and all the fun things that they include in their own classroom. I can’t wait to watch my own students grow and learn throughout the year! Give Mrs. Kinzer a warm welcome in the comments!

Pre-K students receive an assessment at the beginning of the year. This helps our Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Camber, to know what students already know, and what they need to learn. This is an excellent way to gauge where she needs to begin teaching so students stay interested and engaged.

A classroom is a unique environment - one where students are able to not only develop academically, but socially. Community is so important in a classroom and ensures a positive learning environment.

Kindergarten students love read-aloud time!
Reading aloud has so many benefits! Reading aloud helps to create a classroom community, gives students an opportunity to hear their teacher model fluency and expression, and helps students learn how to use language and make sense of the world.
What books do you love to read aloud at home?
