Ms. Blankenship's class took a study break before finals! They created snowmen without looking at what they were drawing. They put whiteboards on their head and drew the snowmen from memory! It was a good distraction from studying!

As you prepare to go back to school remember it is a good time to wash coats, hats, gloves, and book bags, etc. to help limit the spread of germs. You can also use disinfectant wipes on items like book covers, binders, folders, and other items that can’t be washed. Thanks for helping keep our students and staff healthy.

Staff spotlight on Mr. Buzzelli:
I grew up in Claremore and developed a passion for math and health sciences. That later evolved into a passion for helping others progress in these areas, and I couldn't think of a better place to help young mathematicians and wrestlers than Claremore Public Schools.

Students in Mrs. Shilling's Current Events class voted on Current Events subjects they thought would be interesting to research. They conducted research in class on a sports injury topic they found most interesting, such as sports with the most injuries, the worst sports injury to date, the most common injuries in a student's favorite sport, the number of medical professionals on the sideline of an NFL game, and major vs minor injuries in a student's favorite sport. Then the students printed their information and visuals, created a poster board, and presented their research to the class.

7th grade English teachers made learning rewarding! They gave their students a comprehensive vocabulary test on the 100 words they have been learning this semester, for the first 25 words correct, the students got a bowl of ice cream! For every 15 more, they got a topping added to their ice cream! We would also like to thank all the parents who donated ice cream and supplies!
