These are BEAUTIFUL!!! Mrs. Coffey and her 3rd-5th Art Classes made these amazing pictures. First they picked out their picture, then glued yarn around the picture, covered that with aluminum foil and last they colored their picture. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

We have 2 finalist!!! Our friends from Sodexo came by with great news. Two Catalayah students have been chosen to move on to the next round of the Future Chef Competition!!!!! They will be competing live next week! Great job kids and good luck! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

This morning we kicked off Read Across America Week!!! We have already had some wonderful guest readers!! Mrs. James has a coloring contest for Pre K- 2nd, and a Bookmark Design Contest for 3rd-5th. 1 winner per grade level, and the winners will receive Book Fair money!! Reading is so important and we are so excited we have people from our community taking the time to come and read to our students! “I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book.”– J.K. The Oklahoma Caring Van will provide FREE immunizations for children at the Claremore enrollment center March 21st & 23rd from 10a - 12p. A parent/guardian must complete the required paperwork. Services will be provided to children who are uninsured, Medicaid eligible, or American Indian. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Casey's class is learning about the water cycle with their story of the week, Wild Weather. They made water cycle mobiles to hang in the class.🌧️☀️ #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our PTO is amazing!!!! Look what they did for us this morning! Drive by Breakfast! 🍳☕️🍓 Thank you to everyone that sent a candy gram. With their profits, they were able to surprise treat our teachers to a delicious breakfast & coffee from Front Porch Bakery! 🫐🥯🍎 (and Thanks to our parent volunteers that delivered breakfast!) #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Rogers County Farm Bureau held a coloring and poster contest for all of Rogers County students grades 1-5. Prizes were awarded to the top 5 winners in all 3 categories. Catalayah had 4 winners!! What a great job girls! Be sure to check Wednesdays Claremore Progress to see our girls! In addition to the coloring contest winners we also won the drawing for the book donation from the Women's Leadership Committee. We received a copy of the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture's 2023 Book of the Year Award Book "I Love Strawberries" by Shannon Anderson. Mrs. James will be adding this to her library collection soon!! Thank you Rogers County Farm Bureau!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. T's 3rd & 4th GT~ students explored new grant materials before the science lesson on Energy. They really like documenting their creations with photos and took care of some of the camera work themselves 😊 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
