Weather looks good for tomorrow, so we will have Running Club after school!

Ms. Henry's 3rd grade class has been working on a really cool project!! “Balloons Over Broadway in Array City” - Students last week made Array buildings (how many rows/columns = the multiplication problem on the back). We then read “Balloons Over Broadway” by Melissa Sweet which is about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and students designed their own parade “balloon”. I think they did a fantastic job!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

1st graders made Thankful Bracelets last week. They got to write down what they are thankful for and decide what color they wanted each thing they are thankful for!! If you see them around ask them what their bracelet represents! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

This is one of my favorite assignments!! Our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes disguised their Turkeys so they won't get eaten on Thanksgiving! I love the creativity. Happy Thanksgiving, from your friends at Catalayah!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Friday and Saturday Mr. D took his V.A.S.T. students to Dickens on the Boulevard to perform. They bundled up and were able to play some Christmas songs both nights. They did such a great job!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

These girls got to Ride to School in a Police Car!! They won the live auction item at the Carnival. Before going to school Officer Hagen showed the girls how to turn on the lights and sirens. He took them through town and dropped them off in the drop off line at school!! Thanks Officer Hagen for making their morning so fun. They will always remember this! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Thanksgiving is this week and everybody loves that Chick-Fil-A sweet tea and lemonade! Bring it to your holiday gathering, corporate party, or home for dinner. This month Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Claremore Public School Foundation. CPSF funds class and teacher grants district-wide. Go by and grab a gallon or two... or three this month. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🚒 These Catalayah students got to ride to school in a Fire Truck!! 🚒 Another auction item from the carnival! Our friends at Claremore Fire Dept picked them up at their house and brought them to school. They even dropped them off in the car rider line!! Thanks Claremore Fire Department #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
