Happy National Assistant Principal's Week!
This week, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible dedication and tireless work of our iconic trio of assistant principals: Mr. Warren, Ms. Golbek, and Mr. Short!
They’re in early, they stay late, and they somehow manage to be everywhere at once — supporting students, lifting up staff, and making sure things run smoothly from the first bell to the last. Whether it’s a quick hallway check-in, a calm presence during chaos, or a thoughtful word when it’s needed most — they’re always there.
We’re so thankful for your commitment, your energy, and the way you lead with purpose and care.
Thank you, Mr. Warren, Ms. Golbek, and Mr. Short — you make every day a great day to be a Zebra!

Ms. Golbek’s class studied how live earthworms reacted to environmental cues that earthworms encounter everyday in the world. The students studied the effects of light, moisture, and chemical odor stimulus influenced each of their wiggly friend’s behaviors and choices. This helped to show not only worm habits but also how human activities could impact the life of our soil cycling buddies!
Last week, our special education department went above and beyond to spoil our amazing paraprofessionals, and they deserved every bit of it!
These incredible individuals work tirelessly behind the scenes—offering support, care, and guidance to our students and staff every single day. Whether it's helping in the classroom, offering a listening ear, or going the extra mile to make a difference, our paras are true superheroes.
We are so thankful for their dedication, patience, and the positive energy they bring to CHS. Our school wouldn’t be the same without them!
Drop a comment to help us celebrate these rockstars!

A rep from the University of North Texas will be here on Monday, April 14 during Encore in the Think Tank. It may be April, but Claremore High School is proud to recognize our February Students of the Month!
These outstanding students were nominated and selected by CHS faculty for their hard work, character, and commitment.
Freshmen: Grace Noviski and Cash Round
Sophomores: Kaylee Peters and Brandon Shaw
Juniors: Katelyn Sterba and Lex Clark
Seniors: Itayla Lona and Dylan Cryder
We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our Staff Member of the Month, Mrs. Reavis, and our Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Huddleston—thank you both for all you do!
These students stay so active representing CHS that we weren’t able to gather them for a group photo—but enjoy a few snapshots of the amazing things our incredible Zebras are up to!
