On Tuesday evening, March 26, the Claremore High School Choirs along with the Will Rogers Choir performed the annual βMasterworksβ concert at the Robson Performing Arts Center. The concert showcased music from classical to contemporary. Both the Will Rogers Jr. High and High School Choirs included music from around the world sung in several languages including Japanese, Latin, and Portuguese. Room 701 Vocal Jazz also performed several jazz arrangements including Radioheadβs cover of βThe Touristβ and the Mamas and the Papas classic 60βs hit, βCalifornia Dreaminβ β The Mixed Choir stole the show as they had the audience singing along with the Carribbean hit made famous by Harry Belefonte, βMatilda.β The show was well attended and enjoyed by all. The next choir performance will be the annual βPOP Concert!β on May 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robson Performing Arts Center.

The girls golf team placed 1st as a team at the Caney Valley Invitational Golf Tournament on March 26.
Kate Merriman finished 4th overall.
Hadley Abraham finished 2nd overall.

College Orientation Reimbursement is Open!!
Seniors who are attending college this fall in Oklahoma register for GEAR UPβs orientation reimbursement program. GEAR UP will reimburse the cost of college orientation/bridge programs for students who graduate from Claremore and attend any Oklahoma college or university. Seniors 1οΈβ£2οΈβ£- don't leave money on the table!  There are several scholarship applications still available.  The local Rotary Club application is now available in the counseling office.  The Indian Women's Pocahontas Club application is available.  Check the bulletin board on the wall outside room 101 or ask your school counselor for information about scholarships.  They are also available on the Claremore High School website.  
Juniors 1οΈβ£1οΈβ£- you have the opportunity to apply for your first scholarship.  The Claremore Alumni Scholarship application is now available on the bulletin board outside of room 101 or pick one up in the counseling office.

There will be an informational meeting Monday April 1st, after school for anyone interested in Speech and Debate tournaments for next year. Please come by to find out more. The meeting will be held in the drama room (room 704) in the PAC directly after school.

If you are going to be a junior 1οΈβ£1οΈβ£ or a senior 1οΈβ£2οΈβ£ next year and have a concurrent class listed on your π enrollment sheet, you are required to meet with an RSU advisor after you meet with your ZAP advisor Thursday evening.  There will be three RSU representatives available in the commons area that evening.  π Please make sure you see them before you leave. π

JUNIORS! Spring testing starts next week. All tests are a graduation requirement, so please make every effort to be here on testing days. Room assignments and testing days are posted outside the cafeteria. Be sure to check the lists and know what room you are going to BEFORE testing day.

Itβs time for the annual student art show! Please bring your artwork to Ms. Mercer or Mrs Hoffer this week and next week! The deadline for submissions is Wednesday April 3rd!! Please write your first and last name, the title of the artwork, and your contact information on the back of each artwork you submit. Each student may submit up to 3 pieces. 
The art show will be on display in the PAC Lobby from April 10th through the 24th!
