However, her Zebra roots run deeper than those 5 years since she graduated from CHS in 2001 and now gets to watch her daughter walk across that same stage on Lantow Field 21 years later. Mrs. Salcido has enjoyed watching Makyla fall in love with volleyball.Makyla went to state with the high school team twice and now she will continue playing in college!! COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION 14 Days brought to you by Coach Eddy and his senior Ryan and their letterman jackets. Coach Eddy has been a coach and English teacher at CHS for 5 years. He told us, “Ryan has spent his whole high school career at CHS. He’s had some of the best teachers and coaches along the way that have helped mold him into a young man that we’re all proud of.” Ryan began his Zebra experience in 8th grade and WRJH and has continued through high school. With a coach as a dad, it’s not surprising he’s been involved in athletics. He also is a member of the Native American Student Association. Ryan shared this about his time as a Zebra, “I’ve always felt at home and a part of a family community, I can always count on my peers and staff.” #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
