CHS Math Club had fun celebrating Pi Day while playing Jeopardy and enjoying some lemonade and pie. Jeopardy categories included pi, math, random, and pie trivia.

Since 2015, the Hope Race has inspired positive change in the local community, and provided critical funds for the classrooms of Claremore High School. The Hope Race as allowed funding for essential school equipment for every subject, allowing students to engage in the educational opportunities they deserve. FINALS START TOMORROW! To preserve the testing environment, students will not be checked out DURING the testing hour. If a student finishes their test early, they are to remain in the classroom for the entire time. This procedure allows other students to continue working on their test without disruptions. We want to ensure ALL students are in an environment conducive to testing. Thursday and Friday will be on a regular schedule but Friday's bell schedule will be a little different to accommodate 1st and 3rd hour finals. Please ensure all outside appointments are not scheduled during the testing time. Attendance matters! Students should be present for all classes.

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer team. They won first place this past Saturday at the Muskogee Indian Bowl. They defeated Booker T. Washington 1-0 to win the championship.

Claremore High School freshmen embarked on an exciting journey as they visited Rogers State University, exploring the vibrant campus and gaining valuable insights into higher education. The tour, made possible by the generous sponsorship of GEAR UP, allowed students to immerse themselves in the college experience. From the state-of-the-art facilities to engaging academic environments, the visit provided a firsthand look at the opportunities awaiting them in their educational futures. As these freshmen navigated the grounds of Rogers State University, they were inspired by the possibilities that higher education could unfold. Heartfelt thanks go to GEAR UP for making this enlightening trip possible, empowering these young minds with a vision for their academic aspirations.

The CHS awards assembly is scheduled for April 30, 2024 in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). The assembly will start at 9:30 a.m. for the freshman and sophomores and at 12:30 p.m. for the juniors and seniors. Students attending this event will receive an invitation.

The Claremore High School Girls' Golf team showcased their remarkable skills at the Dewey Invitational, held at Adams Golf Course in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, securing an impressive 6th place in the overall standings. The team's collective dedication and talent were on full display as they navigated the challenging course with precision and grace. Among the standout performers was Senior Hadley Abraham, whose exceptional performance earned her a well-deserved 4th place in the individual rankings. Hadley's skillful play and leadership undoubtedly contributed to the team's success, reflecting her commitment to the sport and the undeniable impact of her senior leadership on the Claremore High School Girls' Golf team. Their commendable achievement at the Dewey Invitational marks a proud moment for both the athletes and the school community, highlighting the team's prowess and the individual excellence of Hadley Abraham.

Coach Jackson's Female Fitness class has been hard at work learning about stress, bones, muscles, and Title IX. The ladies put their creativity on display as they worked on posters as a review activity.

Congratulations to the Varsity Girl's and Boy's Soccer teams. Last night they both won their season openers against Sapulpa. Girls won 3-2 and boys won 4-0.
