Kindergarten students worked on raising their alphabet IQ with letter mats that they finished up this week!
Thanks to generous donations from Mrs. Bradfield and Mrs. Crabb's family and friends, every kindergarten student at Claremont went home with a book last week! That's 80 books to both traditional and virtual students!

Pre-K had a great time singing, playing a game, and listening to a story about the farm with Mrs. Troyer - our Library Media Specialist!
4th grade is learning how to measure angles with protractors in Mrs. Harrison’s class!
4th and 5th graders have been working on symmetry in Mrs. Francis's art class and have created name creatures! The students wrote their names, traced the same design to the other side of the paper and then connected to make a symmetrical design. They were able to add their own creative details creating their unique design.
Art with Mrs. Francis is so much fun! 1st grade students made rainbow mosaics with torn pieces of paper.

Distance Learning Fridays start this Friday, the 11th. Teachers will be in the school buildings during the school day to facilitate the remote learning process. We are excited to practice our new procedures and digital skills.

The 14-day Enrollment Options Trial Period Closes Wednesday, 9/9/20. Contact your school of record if any final adjustments need to be made from virtual to traditional or vice versa, by the end of the day. After this date, students will complete the semester in their current enrollment option.

Parents, we will begin device distribution this week! If your student does not receive a device, we have not received the agreement or payment for the protection plan. All parents must fill out agreements before we distribute a device. There are two ways this can be done. You can sign off electronically, with the link below. The other option is to fill out a paper form. We must have these forms returned with your signature before we give out the device. Device protection payments can be sent to the school with your student, or you can pay in the office. Protection plan prices increase Wednesday, September 9th to $40 per device for Claremore families.

Elementary Parent Orientation meetings will be held through Google Meets this week. Teachers will reach out to parents with a link and instructions on how to join the virtual meetings. If you have questions, contact your child's teacher. This orientation is for students enrolled in the TRADITIONAL option.
