Our student teachers are amazing! Mrs. Leifheit read "My Mouth is a Volcano" and then made a volcano with 1st graders in Mrs. Ward's class. As the year winds down, many times a review of expectations is needed, and this was such a fun way to remind students to show respect while others are speaking. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Johnston's 2nd graders also learned all about plants! Activities included learning about pollination, sprouting, and chlorophyll rubbing! Students had a blast learning all about what plants do for each other and for us! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Testing 5th graders were greeted with locker posters and red carpets rolled out in their classroom entrances. Kindergarten students sure made these 5th graders feel loved and supported on their 1st day of testing! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

3rd, 4th and 5th grade GT students studied Oil Derricks and created one of their own. With only tape, straws and paper clips, students were challenged to see who could build the tallest and most sturdy! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

3rd graders LOVE board games and puzzles! Thanks to a grant from our CPS Foundation, puzzles, board games and card games are a part of some of the things students get to enjoy while waiting to test, or once finished with testing! Thank you, Claremore Public Schools Foundation!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Peck challenged her 1st grade students to complete a reading at home BINGO card! The reward: ice cream! These three students were the first to complete their cards. Great job, 1st graders! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is now open! All families must complete enrollment every year. Enrollment may be completed entirely online, and we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to enroll. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance, the CPS Enrollment Center has computers and scanners available and will be happy to help. They are open daily from 8a - 4p (arrive by 3:30p). You are now able to enroll your current students for the 2023-2024 school year by accessing the student records portal through this link https://ok.wengage.com/claremore. Please watch the video instructions or follow the written instructions to update the necessary information and complete the 2024 school year enrollment. This applies to current and new students. 4th grade students had a chance to "GLOW what they KNOW" in preparation for state testing this week! Teachers set up black lights, and students did work on neon paper, used highlighters, and neon sticky notes - and also some wore neon clothing! It was a fun day of review for all involved! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
