After weeks of our book study, we finished reading The Wild Robot, and the day had finally come to see the movie! While we waited for the buses, we were excited, offering big smiles for the camera.

The amazing artwork hanging around our school is the handiwork of our very own Mrs. Bear. She put a lot of heart into this project, and we are thankful for her creativity and dedication! Thank you, Mrs. Bear!

Mr. Mudd was a man with a plan! With all the buses ready, everyone boarded the school buses to head to the movie.
Thank you, Mr. Mudd, for keeping us organized, and thank you to the bus drivers for getting us there safely! We appreciate their hard work.

The ride home was a little quieter on the Kindergarten bus. All the travel and movie-watching made for a sleepy trip back to school.
Once we returned, we had picnic lunches and enjoyed the nice weather.

In PE (Physical Education), our students have a great time burning off energy, but they're also learning about the different bones in the body. Mrs. Steuart shows them where the sternum is and explains its function! We love that our students are strengthening both their bodies and their minds!

Today is National Custodian Day! While we may publicly recognize Ms. Anna today, we are thankful for her every day!
Ms. Anna is a vital part of our school. She is always there with a helping hand to keep our school clean and safe. Her smile is contagious, and she is a joy to work with. Thank you, Ms. Anna, for taking care of Claremont!

📚Congratulations to our September Library Classes of the Month!📚
New this year, our librarian, Ms. Browning, is honoring two classes each month that follow the Great Expectations while in the library. These students must follow procedures, be respectful, make good choices, listen well, take care of the books, and participate in activities.

Practicing their spelling words has never been so fun!
Ms. Hensley’s 3rd-grade class loves to practice their spelling words by playing ‘Sparkle or Shine.’ They go around the circle, spelling their words one letter at a time. If you miss a letter or the word ends on the person before you, you’re out! Several rounds guarantee several winners!
