Many think of Teacher Appreciation week and don't always remember that every educator in the building has an impact on their student. Specials teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators, and even our amazing admin assistants are impacting students every day. We are all teachers! It is truly a team effort in loving and educating every child.

2nd grade students had so much fun at the Tulsa Zoo! This was the first field trip many of these students got to participate in - and the first time to the zoo for some! It was a fun-filled day for all, including the many parent chaperones who joined in!

We may be a little biased, but we believe that Claremont has the BEST teachers! Give your student's teacher a shout out in the comments and let her know why she is the BEST!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week!!
This week, take some time to let your child's teachers know just how much you appreciate them! It truly takes a village, and each one of the educators in our building work hard every day to not only make sure students are educated, but loved, too!

It's SPRING and everyone is learning about all of the different parts of this amazing season of renewal! 1st grade students have also been learning about plants, and the different parts of a plant! To see these parts up close, students were able to dissect a plant!

2nd graders in Mrs. Howell's class read The One and Only Ivan, by Katherine Applegate. In the story, the main character Ivan, who is a silverback gorilla, loves yogurt covered raisins. Students were curious about this treat, so Mrs. Howell treated them to their own yogurt covered raisins! Some liked them, and some did NOT!
