Kindergarten students work on decodable books during their Science of Reading whole group instruction time!
The Science of Reading is designed to give students a solid foundation in: phonemic awareness, letter sounds, word building, and decodable reading. Here, students are reading decodable books based on the current CVC (consonant/vowel/consonant) words they have previously learned.
