Students will be able to visit the book fair during a scheduled time every day. One way to make the process easier is to sign up for e-wallet. E-Wallet allows you to put a certain amount of money on a redeemable "gift card" and any unused funds go back to your account!

Students in Mrs. Bowen's 5th grade class showed their knowledge of Coordinate Planes through a Build Your Own City activity. Students had to plot points for several different locations in their city. They also had to identify what the ordered pair for the location was as well as the quadrant each location was located in.

My name is Sheila Urbonas and I am the School Counselor. I have been in education for 30 years, and have been teaching with CPS for a total of almost 15 years.
I attended Northeastern State University for my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and SNU for my Masters in Counseling. I also hold 18 graduate-level hours in School Administration.
I have been married to my husband for almost 11 years. We have 4 adult children that we love spending time with! We have also recently been blessed with a new granddaughter!
I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, reading and traveling.

Searching on a website for a specific topic and can be challenging and time-consuming.
This #TechTipTuesday will show users how to search a specific site for specific content using the site search feature in Google Chrome. Using this feature will narrow the search results to only the site you want to search and not the entire web. Use this to find documents, images, or any content on a specific website without searching the whole web for it.

My name is Teresa Miles and I teach 3rd-5th grade Gifted and Talented. I have been in education for 21 years and at CPS for 17 years. I attended Northeastern State University where I received a degree in Elementary Education.
I have been married to my husband for 4 years, I have 4 children and we have 11 grandchildren between us.
