For all you "planners" out there... the CPS Academic Calendar for 2021-22 has been approved by the Board of Education. It goes without saying, but just in case, this is official unless we have any unforeseen situations come up in the future.

Today is a distance learning day, Zebra family! Let this quote be an inspiration to you today:
"The fundamental level of success is doing the hard things first. If you go for the feared thing first, then the rest of the day is easy." -Robert G. Allen

My name is Dee Dee Clark. I have taught 4th, 2nd, Reading Recovery and 1st grades. I am now retired and working as a reading interventionist.
I have been in education for 42 years and have taught in Claremore since 1988. I attended Phillips University where I received a degree in Education.
I have been married for over 25 years to Barry. We have one daughter, Madeline. She is in her 2nd year of pharmacy school and is also working on her MBA.
I love to read and spend time with my family.

LITERACY NIGHT IS TONIGHT! We can't wait to watch these performances with you at 6:00!
This year, Literacy Night has gone virtual! We are so excited to be able to still offer a Literacy Night to our Claremont family!
Please plan to join us via Google Classroom on Thursday, February 11th at 6:00 PM for a virtual Readers Theater performed by your very own classroom teachers!
The link to the performances is scheduled to go live on Google Classroom right at 6:00 PM. Find a place to snuggle up with your child and view the performance together!

We might not be IN the building, but that does not keep us from LEARNING!
Keep sharing those photos!

Due to the icy conditions, CPS will continue Distance Learning, Thursday, February 11th & Friday, February 12th.
Additionally, the child nutrition team will not distribute meals this week.
Check in to your Google Classrooms and follow the instructions. Your teachers are working from home and are available to assist you.
There will be no after school activities, including athletic practices or games.
We will post updates on the CPS communication platforms. If you have not downloaded our CPS App on your phone, we suggest doing that to receive the most updated information. It's available through the Apple Store & Google Play for free.
Be safe, stay warm, make a memory, and remember it's A Great Day to be a Zebra.
