Ms. Fay fills many roles in our school, but sometimes it's fun to just get back to the basics. Ms. Fay had the opportunity to get into the classroom recently and help with a 95% Phonics lesson. Mrs. Stanart's 2nd-grade class was shocked and excited to have their principal in their room for this lesson. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Claremont kicked off state testing today! Several grades cheered our 3rd- graders on as they left the gym to get ready for testing. It was a fun way to start our morning and it was wonderful to see our students cheering each other to success! With testing happening over the next few weeks, please make sure your child is getting a good nights sleep and that they are eating a healthy breakfast. Education is our ticket to success after all! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Ms. Browning's Kindergarten class is having fun learning to read! Words are written on the beach ball. When the beach ball is thrown to each child, they read the word their thumb lands on! Some kids matched their word with words on the calendar to help figure it out, while others "phoned a friend" for a little extra help! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
