Claremont 5th-grade students hosted our weekly Rise and Shine. They shared with us their 5th-grade precepts. Students recited their favorite quotes, inspiring us all. Great Job, 5th -grade!
As we prepare to return to school on Monday, March 25th, we want to remind you that CPS will be closed for an extended holiday weekend on Friday, March 29th.

Mrs. Boomershine's class made some very impressive leprechaun traps last week. They placed them around the school to see if they can catch anything while we are gone for spring break.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Leading up to spring break, we've had a lot of fun! We found some strange clovers on the playground, celebrated several birthdays, and set some traps to see if we could catch any leprechauns. Stay tuned to see if we caught any leprechauns, but in the meantime, enjoy these wonderful clover pictures brought to you by our second graders. Oh, and also a picture of Mrs. Henson celebrating her 40th birthday early. She's a St. Patrick's Day baby!

Claremont's own Loki Morris has been selected as a finalist in this year's Future Chefs Culinary Competition! Loki will represent Claremont on March 27th in the district-wide competition. Good luck, Loki! Claremont is rooting for you and is proud of you!

A few years back, Claremont and Roosa were awarded a grant through our amazing CPS foundation, giving our 5th graders the opportunity to be a part of robotics!
They meet weekly at their own schools, but recently both schools had the great fortune of going to visit the CHS STEM building where Roosa and Claremont worked side by side with each other AND some of our award winning CHS robotics teams!
Just one more reason Claremore Schools are great: the way we come together is absolutely unmatched!

Osiyo! Cherokee Nation cultural experts recently came to Claremont from Tahlequah to teach our 3rd through 5th-grade students about the traditional activities of Cherokee marbles, stickball, blowguns, and storytelling. The students thoroughly enjoyed this enriching experience!

In Mrs. Rahe's first-grade class, the students have been delving into the world of measuring. Throughout this unit, they've been mastering the use of rulers and determining lengths. These engaging, hands-on activities are thoroughly enjoyed by the children.
