Big Boy comes to Claremore! Several of our classes walked down to see just how big the train really was. Most of our students had never seen a steam train before and enjoyed waving at everyone on board. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our Third Grade recently led us in our weekly Rise and Shine! They did a wonderful job and even ended with a spirited version of our Claremont Song. Great job, Third Grade! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Today, we kicked off School Lunch Pirates: Find Your Treasure Week! Our menu will be pirate-themed, the cafeteria is decorated, and there are fun coloring sheets for students to enter a contest! All entries must be completed and turned in by the end of lunch on Wednesday, October 16. One winner from each grade will be drawn for a special pirate treasure! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE #SchoolLunchPirates

Congratulations to Mrs. Rahe’s 1st-grade class! They sold the most tickets during our Homecoming Prince and Princess raffle, earning them an ice cream party! They took advantage of a beautiful day to enjoy their sweet treat outside! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our students love their library time, and here’s another reason why! We recently had our first two winners in the library! Scattered throughout the library are ‘You Are a Winner’ books. There are plenty in all areas of the library, but the catch is, you won’t know you’ve picked a winner until you scan it at checkout. Students who check out these books receive a prize! Once the book is returned, another winning book is selected, ready for the next lucky student to find. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

The Claremore Indian Education Committee(IEC) wil be having a special meeting on Tuesday October 8th ,2024 from 5:45-6:30 p.m. at the Enrollment Center located at 101 West 11th. The meeting will be held for the purpose of holding the JOM Annual Election. To serve on the JOM IEC, a person must be the parent or guardian of a JOM verified child. School board members or spouses, school administrators or spouses and school employees or spouses cannot serve on the committee. Any parent, community member, or others interested may attend the meeting

The amazing artwork hanging around our school is the handiwork of our very own Mrs. Bear. She put a lot of heart into this project, and we are thankful for her creativity and dedication! Thank you, Mrs. Bear! Another shoutout goes to the RSU art department for adding some extra touches of art around the building for this reading initiative. We’d like to give a big shoutout to our amazing PTO! The movie was a special trip for the kids, and our PTO made it even more memorable by purchasing snack packs for all the students who went! Also, thank you to our staff who helped prepare and hand out the snacks! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE #TheWildRobot
