It was another great day of teacher appreciation! Cedar Point Church started off our day with donuts, RCB Bank had a scrumptious dessert bar set up in the lounge, and our amazing PTO provided a delicious lunch for everyone! There are more pictures to come as we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week!

Zebra Stripes Summer Camp The Zebra Stripes Summer Day Care Program is held during the summer season. Our program focuses on providing exceptional care for kindergarten through fifth grade. (Pre-K enrolment is accepted on a case-by-case basis.) The program will offer age-appropriate activities to provide the children with social, emotional, and physical development. Claremore Public Schools is pleased to announce that CPD has completed its search and has been given the all-clear to resume normal activities. Although there will be no classes this afternoon, CHS athletic practices, games, and the senior awards assembly will proceed as scheduled later today. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority at Claremore Public Schools. We work closely and continuously with local emergency officials to ensure we are always prepared for emergencies. We are grateful to the Claremore Police Department, Claremore Fire Department, and other first responders for their help in ensuring our safety today.
Claremont's 3rd-grade is hard at work on their Wax Museum project. This project not only gives our students the opportunity to learn more about fellow Oklahomans, it also helps them improve their research and writing skills. We can't wait to see the final results of all their hard work!

Teacher Appreciation Week started yesterday, and it was a fun day throughout the school! Our amazing Claremont PTO treated our teachers to snacks, 6:19 teas, and chair massages on their break! Today, May 6th, we're celebrating Wishbone Day at Claremont Elementary! But what is Wishbone Day, you ask? It's an international community awareness effort to raise positive awareness of Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as 'brittle bones'.
We have a very special 5th grader here at Claremont Elementary who lives with OI. Mira is a determined and strong young lady. Her grace and courage while living with OI inspire those she comes in contact with. We are so proud of Mira and honored to fight this battle alongside her.

Claremont 5th-graders had the opportunity to participate in the Carnegie Hall's Link Up program with the Tulsa Symphony! This was a wonderful experience for our students and a day they won't soon forget!
