Claremont 1st-grade brought the wisdom of the ages to life as they transformed into adorable centenarians for our 100th day of school celebration! From wispy wigs to spectacles and canes, their creativity knew no bounds.

Our fabulous kindergartners put on a 100th-day fashion show for us! The red carpet was rolled out, ready for them to strut their stuff down the runway! Each little model showcased their unique outfit, creatively assembled to celebrate the 100th day of school. There were lots of smiles as teachers and fellow students cheered them on.

Today is World Read Aloud Day! On February 1st, classrooms around the world take time to celebrate and honor the power of reading and sharing stories. We caught Mrs. Galvez in action reading aloud to Mrs. Leifheit's 4th grade class in the library! Take some time to share a story with someone you love today.

Reminder! PTO meeting in the Library tonight. Hope to see you there!

This break is a crucial part of their day. It's not just about relaxation; it's about developing social skills, learning to share and cooperate, and most importantly, making those wonderful school memories that last a lifetime.

It's time for the first PTO meeting of the new year! Wednesday, January 31, in the library from 5-6pm! Hope to see you there!

Mrs. Howell’s 2nd-grade class hosted Rise and Shine a few weeks ago. During their presentation, they reminded us that we all need someone to lean on. Great job, Mrs. Howell's class!

With the new year comes some exciting additions! This month, we're introducing the treasure chest in the cafeteria. Twice a month, students will check the bottom of their lunch trays to see if they are the lucky winners. If you find the sticker, you get to pick a prize from the treasure chest! There are two winners per grade. Not only is it fun to search, but it's also a great way to encourage students to finish their lunch so they can take a peek at the bottom of their tray!

Mrs. Rahe’s 1st -grade class snuggled up with their reading buddies last week to enjoy a good book!

A delightful moment unfolded as some of our kindergarten students enjoyed a special lunch with their teacher, Mrs. Kinzer. It was a well-earned reward for these young friends, and Mrs. Kinzer loved the company!
We are thankful for our caring teachers here at Claremont.

When we’ve had a break from school, it’s always a good idea to go over procedures. After we refreshed our memory, it was time to move on to something a little more fun! Dancing and singing to start our day always puts a smile on our faces.

Buckaroo Bart visited our 3rd graders last week to help them learn about Oklahoma’s favorite son, Will Rogers. He demonstrated a few rope tricks and shared information about the 2024 Will Rogers Memorial Museum 3rd Grade Diorama Competition! 3rd-grade students from around the county are challenged to explore their creative side and create a diorama depicting Will and his extraordinary life. Winners will be announced on March 22!
