Today is World Read Aloud Day! On February 1st, classrooms around the world take time to celebrate and honor the power of reading and sharing stories. We caught Mrs. Galvez in action reading aloud to Mrs. Leifheit's 4th grade class in the library! Take some time to share a story with someone you love today. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

With the new year comes some exciting additions! This month, we're introducing the treasure chest in the cafeteria. Twice a month, students will check the bottom of their lunch trays to see if they are the lucky winners. If you find the sticker, you get to pick a prize from the treasure chest! There are two winners per grade. Not only is it fun to search, but it's also a great way to encourage students to finish their lunch so they can take a peek at the bottom of their tray! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
