Happy National Assistant Principals Day!
What better way to celebrate the amazing Mr. Mudd than by giving him a pie in the face!
As part of our Penny Wars at the Claremont Carnival last week, one person was to be given a pie in the face at Rise and Shine this morning. Mr. Mudd was the lucky winner! Not only is he a great sport, but he is also a wonderful Assistant Principal. We are thankful for all Mr. Mudd does here at Claremont and for his commitment to our students and their education!

Today, we take a moment to thank Mrs. Galvez for her invaluable assistance in the library. She welcomes our students into the library with a smile and is always there with an encouraging word. Thank you, Mrs. Galvez, for investing in our Claremont students and encouraging them to dive deeper into the world of books.

Mrs. Ward's 1st-grade class had an impromptu 'flood drill.' Have you ever done a flood drill? Neither had Mrs. Ward's students. They were instructed to grab their whiteboards, sit crisscross applesauce on their desks, and get ready to paddle!
The drill was a success, and the students had a great laugh when Mrs. Ward said "April Fools"! Check out the smiles and unsure faces in the pictures!"

They were welcomed by the CHS Zebra Band and received information about various aspects of the school they will attend next fall!
