Our first graders really enjoyed their bus ride to the Patriot Day ceremony. Look at those smiles!

Ms. Smith's class has been studying watermelons! At the end of their unit, they got to dig into a sweet, ripe watermelon and enjoy a sunny day.
Students took turns guessing how much the watermelon weighed, and the winner was the student who guessed 10 lbs! It officially weighed in at 13 lbs!

Reading is a lot of fun and can take us to new and exciting places! But how do we know what genres we will like?
Recently, our 4th graders set out to discover their favorite genres by hosting a Book Tasting. Students had the opportunity to 'sample' different book genres to help them find new interests and encourage a love for reading. Once they had a taste of all the books, students reviewed them based on their first impressions!
