With the new year comes some exciting additions! This month, we're introducing the treasure chest in the cafeteria. Twice a month, students will check the bottom of their lunch trays to see if they are the lucky winners. If you find the sticker, you get to pick a prize from the treasure chest! There are two winners per grade. Not only is it fun to search, but it's also a great way to encourage students to finish their lunch so they can take a peek at the bottom of their tray! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

A delightful moment unfolded as some of our kindergarten students enjoyed a special lunch with their teacher, Mrs. Kinzer. It was a well-earned reward for these young friends, and Mrs. Kinzer loved the company! We are thankful for our caring teachers here at Claremont. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Buckaroo Bart visited our 3rd graders last week to help them learn about Oklahoma’s favorite son, Will Rogers. He demonstrated a few rope tricks and shared information about the 2024 Will Rogers Memorial Museum 3rd Grade Diorama Competition! 3rd-grade students from around the county are challenged to explore their creative side and create a diorama depicting Will and his extraordinary life. As a Great Expectations school, we focus on a different life principle every month. Our life principle for January is "Self-Control." Self-control involves the correction or regulation of oneself for the sake of improvement.
