With snow covering the ground outside, Mrs. Harrison’s 4th-grade class took the opportunity to have a math paper snowball fight! Students had to solve the math problem on the paper. If they got yellow snow, they had to do 15 jumping jacks.

Mrs. Ward's 1st-grade class has been working on their numbers! Numbers 1-120, to be exact. They took to the hall to sort their numbers and put them in order. This is a fun way for our students to learn not only their numbers but also the importance of working together!

Rogers State University welcomed Claremont Elementary to the Expo Center for Claremont Day! Students were treated to lunch and snacks while they watched the Lady Hillcats dominate against Randall University.
At the half RSU gave away 2 bikes, 2 signed basketballs and we were all excited to watch our very own Mrs. Peck and Miss. Longhorn battle it out at the freethrow line! The Lady Hillcats, their head coach Hunter Hillcat even took the time to high-five students! It was a wonderful day at the court!

Before we headed out for the holiday break, our Claremont PTO put together a delicious taco bar to feed our staff. It gave the staff a chance to talk to our PTO president and enjoy a few moments of relaxation before heading back to class.

Miss. Myers' class had a elf named Jingle! He teaches students about kindness and gives them a kindness challenge each day. On day 5, Jingle said to deck the halls by putting decorations where the halls were bare. On day 10, he challenged them to carol to spread some kindness. Claremont enjoyed seeing their tree come together through the month of December!
