Meet Mrs. Troyer.
Mrs. Troyer is our Communications Cadre for Claremont, which means that she does all things communications - Facebook, website, taking photos, etc. Every day, Mrs. Troyer is looking for ways to help Claremont to shine!

Meet Mrs. Shahan!
Mrs. Shahan is a new paraprofessional for our CEEP program. She has been in education for 4.5 years. Mrs. Shahan is a Texas native, and her and her family just moved to Oklahoma from Kansas. Mrs. Shahan's favorite part of working in education is when a student has their "ah ha," or lightbulb moment.
Mrs. Shahan said that her faith brought them to Oklahoma, and then to Claremont, and we are so happy to have her here!
Give Mrs. Shahan a huge welcome in the comments!

Meet Ms. Baker.
Ms. Baker is a paraprofessional in Mrs. Mitchell's classroom. Not only does Ms. Baker assist with instruction, behavioral needs and classroom needs, she assists in other areas of the school when needed. Ms. Baker is an amazing asset to Claremont, and we are glad to have her on our team!
Give Ms. Baker a shoutout in the comments!

5th graders had the best time at BizTown! Students spent several weeks preparing for their jobs and how to be good BizTown citizens. They were able to see what it looks like to have a job, spend and keep track of money, and be accountable to other businesses. It was such a great day!
A huge thank you to all of our parent volunteers who helped make this day possible!

2nd grade students in Mrs. Stanart's class compared and contrasted two different versions of the Cinderella story and then worked with a partner to identify the story elements that make up a Fairy Tale.

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Shrum's class practice reading decodable readers to a friend. Decodable books are simple books that are written for the beginning reader and contain the specific grapheme–phoneme correspondences students have recently learned. These are so important for growing readers!

2nd graders are dancing through their Fairy Tale unit and preparing for their first ever Fairy Tale Ball! Students are learning about the components of a Fairy Tale and also learning different types of dances they will do at the ball. We can't wait for the ball!
