First graders in Mrs. Peck's class read by flashlight during their time in the library. Students loved the change in pace and were excited to be able to use flashlights to look through their books.

Kindergarten students are having a BLAST in the library with Mrs. Troyer. Lessons always include a read aloud, an action poem, a song (or three), and something new for students to learn.

5th grade students work together on a library procedure "break out." In a break out, students work in teams to solve puzzles for the keys to unlock the codes. The first team to unlock all three won a prize! This was such a fun way to reinforce library procedures!

Mrs. Ramsey is our Reading Specialist!
Mrs. Ramsey plans, teaches, and evaluates instruction for students having difficulty with reading or writing. She works with students individually and in small groups to help grow their reading ability and confidence. Mrs. Ramsey truly is a key part in helping our students to succeed!
