When testing is done for the day, 5th graders will play!
5th grade students who were among the first students to finish their state tests were given the opportunity to go to the library with Mrs. Troyer and work with manipulatives like legos, stacking sticks, spend time coloring or reading, and browsing National Geographic magazines.
One of our 5th grade students made some elaborate designs with legos!

Staff members were treated to a special treat Friday morning - a massive charcuterie board!
As staff ate together, we talked about the major WINS of this year. The things we are thankful for, and the things we accomplished. Then, as PLC teams, we were challenged to spread that joy throughout the district in the form of kind words and messages to those who had impacted us this school year.

Did you know??
Reading aloud to children gives them the opportunity to try on the language and experience of others. It helps them make connections with their lives, and informs their view of themselves and others.

This is so egg-citing!
Kindergartens' chickens have hatched! Over the course of the last week, the eggs that the Kindergarten students have been incubating for the last 21 days have finally hatched!
This has been such an egg-citing process for our students to learn about and see happen with their very eyes!

The second Friday in May is #schoolprday, also called National School Communicators Day. A day where schools recognize the work behind the scenes of those who tell our school's story, share celebrations, and keep us informed.
Yesterday we celebrated the team behind the communications curtin. Our Communications Specialists or as some often refer to them, "the Facebook lady" or "the website lady" or because they play many roles at their site it could be the "front desk lady", the "library lady", the "camera lady"... you get the picture (see what I did there?).
As a team, we want to thank all of our Claremore Public School staff, students, and community, for sharing their #CPSZEBRAPRIDE through excellent pictures, updates, and content. For without you, there wouldn't be a story to tell.

Thank you, ladies, for everything you do to connect, communicate, celebrate, and create a partnership with our CPS families and the community.

Today we got together as a staff to celebrate everything that the 2020-2021 school year has brought us.
There have been so many accomplishments, and there are so many things that we are thankful for. Below are some of them.
