She provides a safe space for students that need it, resources to families that might be going through trials & is always looking out for the well being of our students. Plant Life Cycle 🌱🌱 Ms. Taber's 4th grade class each planted a lima bean seed in a damp paper towel/bag and hung them on the window for the sun to help them germinate. Her class learned about the life cycle of a plant and get to see it grow firsthand!

We're down to just a few days until Family Fun Night! This event is a huge fundraiser for Westside Elementary and is hosted by our PTO team. There will also be concession stands available, the menu is shown here. A few reminders for our families: ‼ Wristbands- send money with your student in an envelope noted "FFN wristband" with the quantity you would like to purchase. They are $15 now or $20 at the door. ‼ Pop for pizza- pre-k through second grade, send canned soda. 3rd-5th, send 2 liters. The grade with the most will win a pizza party! ‼ Raffle Tickets- sell, sell, sell! The top students will win a prize (Nintendo Switch, Crazy Cart, or a Drone)
