6th grade science students have been designing and testing cup systems to keep drinks cold longer. They are learning about energy and heat transfer. Here are some pictures of students at work in the classroom.

Reading Stem Project - Mrs. Bacon and Mrs. Hurt's classes studied and read about candy corn and how it is made. They also used our GE Life Principle of the Week - Problem Solving - and worked in groups to make towers with candy corn and toothpicks. They had to collaborate, communicate, coordinate, and create.

What better time to use 🕷SPIDERS 🕷as a learning tool than around Halloween! Mrs. Worley's science classes designed a way to catch spiders dropping down on them! YIKES! The students used 4 fuzzy sticks and 4 yards of fishing line and all made their own designs. Creativity at its best! 🕸

Virtual/Hybrid Meals we will provide meals for all seven (7) days in a week (excluding Federal Holidays).
Pick up schedules will change to 2 days a week to manage product quality and help relieve storage issues for our families with multiple students. Virtual/Hybrid Meals pick up schedule:

There is nothing like homemade cinnamon rolls to give a person that feeling of soothing comfort - a big, warm, gooey, frosting dripping down, center of the cinnamon roll. None of the out-of-a-can or plain powdered sugar on top type but a fresh, warm, dough rolled by hand cinnamon roll to wrap you up and communicate appreciation from the sender to the receiver.
Well, that is just what the Claremore CCTA did for ALL the teachers and staff, district-wide. A small but warm gesture to say, "We see you and all you are doing. We support you. We appreciate you." Our teachers' tummies and hearts were fuller this week. Thank you!

Mrs. Rains' students are creating shadow boxes over landforms. They've been learning about the different landforms of the world and chose which ones they wanted to create in their shadow box. They created mountains, hills, meadows and other landforms.
